Parking in and around the community is continually becoming more of a problem. Many homes have more cars than available spaces on their property and the additional cars are parking on the streets sometimes blocking or curtailing easy and safe entrance and exit for their other neighbors driveways. Please be considerate of your neighbors and provide them with ability to easily get into and out of their driveways. We ask you to pay heed to all parking signs and to refrain from parking where it is prohibited, this particularly must be adhered on ROYAL HILLS BOULEVARD where many homeowners park to dropoff or pick up school children. Parking in this area is creating a hazard to those seeking to enter and leave the community and also poses a threat to the children's safety as the move to and from parked cars as others are trying to navigate in and out of Royal Hills. Parking here is illegal, as posted by the city of Winter Haven. We would not like to see our residents fined but even more so we are concerned with the safety of our children.
Also be aware it is a violation of city ordinances and the community bylaws to park on or about the grass areas within the community we ask that you refrain from doing so. We also ask you be aware of the posted speed limits within the community and drive accordingly. The safety of our children and residents is of great concern.

There is only one pickup day for all trash and recyclables, that is on Friday of each week. The city of Winter Haven has a website (MYWINTERHAVEN.COM) and additional information of trash pickup may be found there. The condition of each and every property reflects on all homeowners. Keep the trash cans up in your yards and make sure they are not put out before 6PM the evening before trash day and returned back on the property by 6PM on trash day. It is the responsibility of each of us to maintain good property appearances for the benefit of the community as a whole. Items in the RECYCLE containers should be placed in the containers loose and "NOT IN PLASTIC BAGS IN THE CONTAINERS."
BULK TRASH PICK-UP (NEW METHOD)
The City of Winter Haven has discontinued the weekly Bulk Pick-Up for large trash items. They have also added a charge for these services in most cases. In order to have large items picked up by the city you must call to make arrangements for pick-up services in all instances. The City of Winter Haven will not pick up items left curbside unless advance request was made. They also advise homeowners not to put items curbside prior to making and receiving a schedule pick-up date or you may be served with a code violation for trash items curbside. Items are not to be placed curbside before 6PM the evening prior to the date the city assigns you for the pickup.
This is just a reminder that if you are considering making changes to the exterior of your property you are required to submit an Architectural Review Applications to GARRISON PROPERTY SERVICES for board approval prior to any changes being made. This includes but not limited to painting, window replacement, new roofing, additions to home structure, sheds and fences. Failure to make request before beginning any work could result in fines, legal action or possible removal of additions. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to obtain all approval from the community board prior to obtaining building permits from the city. These forms and instructions may be obtained from this website on the CONTACT US-GET FORMS page in the DOWNLOAD section, by contacting Diane Crowder at Garrison Property Services or by directly uploading to the new Garrison website at https://garrison.cincwebaxis.com. To use this site, you must first register with the site. The information to register is explained when applying.
Our community, our management team and our board of directors continue to try to function to maintain services and guidance to keep our community moving forward. Since many restrictions have been removed or modified, we have once again begun holding our meetings so homeowners can actually physically attend if they wish. We request each of you consider attending and taking part in community meetings when they are scheduled, since as a homeowner, we all have a stake in our community.
